Abstract:
The research was carried out during the two growing seasons (2024 – 2025) in Deir Ezzor governorate. with the aim of studying the effect of spraying using four concentrations of wood vinegar (0 – 2 – 3 – 5) ml/l on some Physiological traits and Productivity of cowpea plants. The experiment was designed according to a randomized complete block design with three replications. The results showed that foliar spraying of cowpea plants with wood vinegar significantly affected cowpea plants. The concentration of (3 ml/l) has contributed to obtaining the best Physiological traits of the plants, where leaf chlorophyll a content reached 1.555 mg/g fresh weight, chlorophyll b was 0.708 mg/g fresh weight, while N content in leaves was 3.453 %, P was 0.444 %, and K was 2.812%. The same concentration also gave the best yield components, as the number of pods per plant reached (33.00) pods, number of seeds per pods reached (11.133) seed, weight100 seed reached (34.20) g. and also contributed to obtaining the highest productivity per unit. The area amounted to (2764) kg/d.
