This research was conducted at Izraa Research Station, General Commission for Scientific Agricultural Research (GCSAR) in Syria, during the growing season 2011/2012 to study some morphological characteristics and grain yield of 12 Genotypes of durum wheat under water deficit stress at different growth stages. The experiment was designed according to randomized completely block design arranged in split plot with three replications. The results showed a significant difference among genotypes and treatments and the interaction between genotypes and treatments for all studied traits. Water stress at different growth stages caused a decrease in grain yield (10.2, 22.8, 20.7 % respectively). The variety Cham5 achieved the highest grain yield per m2 under all three water stress treatments (198, 201.4, 194 respectively), whereas, the variety Bohouth7 recorded the lowest grain yield per m2 under water deficit stress treatments (149, 90.7, 99.6 respectively).
