Abstract
The study was carried out to estimate the natural basin coefficients (area, basin height, length of the maxillary pathway, concentration time and peak flow), and to study the available measurements of the monthly precipitation values and the maximum daily rainfall precipitation and water supplies for the measurement period available at Shahba Dam Measurement Center. Also, studying the experimental probability of monthly measurements precipitation and the maximum daily in accordance with the monthly measurements of the water supplies of Shahba Dam lake, besides finding the variable runoff for the period of the monthly precipitation, then find out the peak flow to determine the plan of the flood wave, depending on the hydrogram. The most frequent waves were studied and analyzed using real measurements. Correlation curves between the factors were drawn, also, the flow wave curve of the daily maximum precipitation and daily and monthly precipitation for a probability of 0.09 corresponding to real measurements of maximum frequency. The reserve curves of were drawn as decimal percentages (0.10, 0.20, …, 0.90) to know the time to initiate the dam flow process and the time available to take investment precautions to prevent flooding risks. Keywords: Qoayq Basin, Shahba Dam, Monthly Precipitation, Maximum Daily Precipitation, Flood Flux.
