Ministry of Agriculture, Libya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">(*Corresponding author: amna Agila, E-Mail: <a href=\"amnamazek@gamil.com\">amnamazek@gamil.com<\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Received: 24\/02\/2024\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Accepted:1\/08\/2024<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times; font-size: 17px;\"><strong>Abstract:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times; font-size: 17px;\">This study aimed to know the changes in the growth rate and its dry weights when treating the <em>Botrytis cinerea<\/em> fungus with different concentration of extract of some plants (<em>Arum cyrenaicum<\/em>,<em> Artemisia annua<\/em>,<em>Atriplex halimus<\/em>, <em>Ephedra alata<\/em>, <em>Leucaena leucocephala<\/em>, <em>\u00a0Anabasis articulata<\/em> and <em>Urtica urens<\/em>), aqueous , a methanol\u00a0 and hexanal. All extracts showed an inhibitory effect on growth of the fungus, but the inhibitory effectiveness differed depending on solvents and extracted \u00a0plants ranged from 5.7 to 80.5% and the aqueous extract of the <em>Ephedra<\/em> sp. was more effective in inhibiting fungal growth compared to hexanolic and methanolic extract. The extract of the<em>Ephedra<\/em> sp. and <em>Urtica urens<\/em> plants showed the highest effect on the growth of the fungus while the extract of the <em>Anabasis <\/em>sp. \u00a0Plant had least effect.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\"><strong>Key words<\/strong>: plant extracts, inhibitor efficiency, <em>Botrytis<\/em> <em>cinerea<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\"><strong>Full paper in Arabic: <a href=\"http:\/\/agri-research-journal.net\/SjarEn\/wp-content\/uploads\/v11n6p31.pdf\">pdf<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amna agila(1)*, Jamil aedris(2),Abd-alrazegabd-alnasser(3), and Nwara mohammed(2) (1).
