The research aimed to study\u00a0 the\u00a0 effect of organic fertilizer\u00a0 and Olive Mill Wastewater (OMWW) on growth and yield of\u00a0 Solanum melongena L , its design\u00a0 the method of randomized complete block was followed with three replicates per treatment and on the average of\u00a0 18\u00a0 plants per repeater . The experiment included\u00a0\u00a0 five treatments using different types of organic manure ( cows , sheep ) 3 kg \/m2\u00a0 , olive mill wastewater (2 and 3) m3 \/ dunum and the control .\u00a0 The results showed that the cultivation of eggplant with the use of organic fertilization with sheep waste\u00a0 has achieved a significant superiority over the other treatments\u00a0 \u00a0in terms of the characteristics of the number of leaves ( 113.62\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 ) leaves\/ plant , leafy surface space (\u00a0 4114\u00a0\u00a0 )\u00a0 cm2 \/ plant\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0, number of fruits\u00a0 (\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 44.43\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 )\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 fruit\/ plant and the yield of plant (\u00a0 6,153\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 ) g \\ plant\u00a0 . while\u00a0 the differences\u00a0 were\u00a0 insignificant\u00a0\u00a0 between the treatments of sheep waste\u00a0 and<\/span> <span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">mineral manure ( treatment of farms ) in terms of plant height\u00a0 , where the sheep treatment recorded the highest values compared to the rest of the treatments (51.21) cm\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 , followed by the mineral fertilizing treatment (48,26 ) cm , there was also no significant difference\u00a0 between the treatments of sheep waste and cow manure waste in terms of\u00a0 leaf area indez ,where the treatments of sheep manure recorded the highest values compared to the rest of\u00a0\u00a0 the treatments (1,375) ,<\/span> f<span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">ollowed by the treatment of cows manure (1,325) from.\u00a0 This can be concluded that the use of sheep waste in Solanum melongena cultivation gives better results in the growth and production of Solanum melongena l .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\"><strong>Key<\/strong><strong> words<\/strong> : solanum\u00a0 melongena , organic fertilizer , Olive Mill Wastewater \u00a0vegetative growth indicators , productivity\u00a0 indicators .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times; font-size: 17px;\">Full paper in Arabic: <a href=\"http:\/\/agri-research-journal.net\/SjarEn\/wp-content\/uploads\/v10n6p5.pdf\">pdf<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shaza Alhasan *(1), Badie Samra\u00a0 (1) \u00a0and Ammar Zayoud (2) (1).
