E-Mail :<a href=\"mailto:shaidignaidi@hotmail.com\">shaidignaidi@hotmail.com<\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times; font-size: 16px;\">Received: 21\/12\/2021\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Accepted: 1\/04\/2022<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times; font-size: 17px;\"><strong>Abstract:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times; font-size: 17px;\">This study was aimed to investigating the fauna of Monogenea in <em>Scomber scombrus<\/em> fished from Syrian marine waters (fishing port of Jableh and Lattakia) between July 2020 and July 2021. The number of samples reached to 224. Examination samples showed that <em>S. scombrus<\/em> was infected with the blood-sucking parasite <em>Kuhnia scombri<\/em> during, March, April and June, with an intensity rate 1.5 parasites\/fish, and a prevalence rate 4.46%, where the number of fish infected with the parasite reached to 10 fish and the number of fish infected with the parasite was 15 individuals.
