In this study, the effect of the organophosphorus pesticide \u201cDimethoate\u201d was evaluated in vitro on cultured Sf9 cell line.\u00a0 Cell viability was estimated using Trypan blue stain. Analysis of regression was used to estimate the 50% inhibition of cell growth (IC<sub>50<\/sub>), resulting in: IC<sub>50<\/sub> =75\u00b5M. Deformation of treated cells was observed, as cells became larger and included cavities; number of deformed cells was positively correlated with concentration of Dimethoate.
