The study aimed to determine the effect of plant spraying\nwith hydrogen peroxide (H<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>2<\/sub>) (10 and 20 mM), with amino\nacids (5 and 10 g\/L), and with H<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>2<\/sub> and amino acids\ntogether in some growth, yield and quality characteristics of sweet corn hybrid\nplants. The spraying treatments with H<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>2<\/sub>, especially at a\nconcentration of 10 mM, and with amino acids, especially at a concentration of 10\ng\/L, alone or together, conducted to many positive effects on all growth\n(morphological and physiological traits), productivity (fresh ear yield) and\nquality (total protein and soluble sugar contents in fresh ear kernels)\ncharacteristics of golden sweet corn. Thus, these compounds spraying with\nconcentrations (10-20 mM for H<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>2<\/sub> and 5-10 g\/L for amino\nacids), alone or together, is recommended\nconsidering to their observed role in stimulating the growth of sweet corn\nplants (<em>Golden Sweet hybrid<\/em>), increasing fresh yield of ear and\nimproving the protein and soluble sugar contents of kernels. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Keywords: <\/strong>Sweet corn, Hydrogen peroxide, Amino acids, Productivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/agri-research-journal.net\/sjar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/v7n4p18.pdf\">Full paper in Arabic: PDF<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wajiha Kassem Al-Shar(1) Suleiman Salameh(2) and Majd Darwish*(1) (1).
