E-Mail: <a href=\"mailto:Zahra.Ibrahim@omu.edu.ly\">Zahra.Ibrahim@omu.edu.ly<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Received: 22\/06\/2020&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Accepted: 18\/07\/2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The study was conducted <em>In Vitro<\/em> during\n2018-2019 at Plant Pathology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Omar\nAl-Mukhtar University, and aimed to evaluate the antagonistic effect local isolate of <em>Trichoderma\nharizianum<\/em> against four pathogenic fungi (<em>Botrytis cinerea, Macrophomina phaseolina,\nRhizoctonia solani and Sclerotinia sclertiorum<\/em>). Results showed that <em>T. harzianum<\/em> isolate had good\nsignificant ability to inhibit the studied diseases fungi directly or\nindirectly. &nbsp;Maximum rate of inhibition was 75.6%, and the\nhighest degree of inhibition according 4 in Sookchaoy scale against <em>M.\nphaseolina<\/em>. The results of the microscopic examination showed the growth of the\nanti-fungus hyphae in parallel with the pathogenic hyphae and spirally wrapped\naround it, causing contraction and degradation them. Direct interaction between bio-control agent and the pathogens\ncausing different diameters in halos lysis of pathogens, also, volatile and non-volatile\nsubstances that released by <em>T. harzianum<\/em> was recorded varying degrees of inhibition in all fungi,&nbsp;\nFinally, the bio-control agent produced antifungal\ncompound that can inhibit the growth of all fungi 100%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Keywords<\/strong>: Antagonism , <em>Trichoderma harzianum<\/em>, Phytopathogenic fungi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/agri-research-journal.net\/sjar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/v7n4p30.pdf\">Full paper in Arabic: PDF<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amina Abdul-Hamied Saad(1) and Zahra Ibrahim El-Gali*(1) (1).
