Thirty\ncrosses produced using Line \u00d7 Tester method (10 \u00d7 3) in 2016 season which were\nevaluated during 2017 season. The experiment was conducted using randomized\ncomplete block design (RCBD) with three replications. Results indicated that\nnon-additive gene action was more important than additive gene action in\ncontrolling all traits. The ratios \u03c3<sup>2<\/sup><sub>GCA<\/sub>\/\u03c3<sup>2<\/sup><sub>SCA<\/sub>\nwas less than one for all traits. General Combining Ability (GCA) effects\nshowed that the lines (IL.291), (IL.358), and (IL.322) had good general\ncombiners for grain yield. Specific Combining Ability (SCA) effects showed that\nthe crosses (IL.21\u00d7IL.155), (IL.21\u00d7IL.1), (IL.121\u00d7IL.200), (IL.121\u00d7IL.322),\n(IL.121\u00d7IL.291) and (IL.197\u00d7IL.98) were the best F1 cross combination for grain\nyield.
