E-Mail: <a href=\"mailto:manalosman709@gmail.com\">manalosman709@gmail.com<\/a>). <strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Received:\n16\/01\/2020&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Accepted: 06\/02\/2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nresearch was conducted at Izra\u2019a Research Station, General Commission for\nScientific Agricultural Research (GCSAR), during the growing seasons\n(2016\/2017and 2017\/2018), in order to evaluate the response of two durum wheat\nverities (Douma3 and Cham5) and two bread wheat varieties (Douma<sub>4<\/sub> and\nCham<sub>6<\/sub>) to Conservation Agriculture (CA) as a full package compared\nwith Conventional Tillage system (CT) under rainfed condition using lentils\n(Variety Edleb<sub>3<\/sub>) in the applied crop rotation. The experiment was\nlaid according to split-split RCBD with three replications. The average number\nof grains per square meter was significantly higher under conservation\nagriculture in the presence of crop rotation, when all the crop residues where\nleft on the soil surface (Barley residues) in the variety Cham<sub>5<\/sub>\n(3070 grain\/ m<sup>2<\/sup>). The average of fertile to total tillers,\n1000-kernel weight and grain yield were, significantly higher under\nconservation agriculture in the presence of crop rotation, of the variety Douma<sub>3<\/sub>\n(71.27%, 33.549g, 4162 kg\/ ha respectively ). soil organic matter content was\nsignificantly higher during the second and first growing seasons, under conservation\nagriculture, in plots in which crop rotation was applied, at the soil depth (0\n\u2013 20 cm) (0. 7483, 0. 6983%&nbsp;\nrespectively).
