E-Mail: <a href=\"mailto:drmhegab@yahoo.com\">drmhegab@yahoo.com<\/a>).&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Received: 15\/03\/2020&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Accepted:\n12\/05\/2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Field\nexperiments were conducted at ALZagazig&nbsp;\nAl-Sharkia&nbsp; Governorate during\n2017 cotton season to tested some chemical insecticides on the larvae of&nbsp; <em>Pectinophora gossypiella <\/em>cotton bolls.\nThree insecticides of Chlorpyrifos+Chlorfluazeron then Lambda-Cypermethrin and\nthen Chlorpyrifos) on <em>P. gossypiella,<\/em> certain sucking pests, (<em>Aphis\ngossypii, Bemecia tabaci, Empoasca <\/em>spp<em>., Nezara veridula <\/em>and<em>\nTetranychus<\/em> spp.) and their associated predators, (<em>Coccinella<\/em> spp., <em>Chrysoperla\n<\/em>spp<em>.,<\/em> <em>Peaderus alferii<\/em>, <em>Scymnus<\/em> spp., <em>Orius<\/em>\nspp. and true spiders). The resultes showed that 1<sup>st<\/sup> spray was\nmoderately effective on<em> P. gossypiella<\/em> larvae and recorded 67.33 %\nreduction after 2<sup>nd<\/sup> week while, the highest reduction was 85.71%\nafter 2<sup>nd<\/sup> week of 2<sup>nd<\/sup> spray. The seasonal mean of\nreduction was 73.89% after the three sprays. In case of studying the effect of\npesticides used to control pink bollworm and its effect on sucking piercing\npests. Also, data revealed that the 1<sup>st<\/sup> spray was the preferable\nspray on <em>Tetranychus<\/em>. spp. and <em>Aphid gossypii<\/em> attained (100 and\n87.79 %), respectively. while in the case of the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> spray the\neffect were noticed on <em>A. gossypii<\/em>, <em>Tetranychus<\/em>. spp. and <em>Empoasca\n<\/em>spp<em>.<\/em>, which attained (100, 53.40 and 56.20 % ). While the 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\nspray recorded the high mean of reduction percentages on <em>N. veredula<\/em> and\n<em>A. gossypii<\/em> attained (92.15 and 84.16 %). The seasonal mean of reduction\npercentages after the three sprays can be arranged as follows: (90.65, 79.82,\n71.52, 58.56 and 36.49 %) of <em>A. gossypii<\/em>, <em>N. veredula ,Tetranychus<\/em>.\nspp., <em>B. tabaci <\/em>and <em>Empoasca <\/em>spp<em>.<\/em>, respectively<em>.<\/em> On\nthe other hand, the effect of the tested compounds on&nbsp; <em>Chrysoperla<\/em> spp. were\n53.72, 8.23 and 9.39 % reduction recorded after the three sprays, respectively.\nThe obtained results cleared that the tested predators affected on all sucking\npests population numbers and recorded the lowest seasonal mean 23.78 % which\nrecorded on <em>Chrysoperla<\/em> spp. On the other side there was found a\nrelationship ranged between positive &amp; negative and insignificant between <em>Coccinella<\/em>\nspp. and the sucking pests, and the relationship was positive and significant\nwith <em>Empoasca <\/em>spp. In the case of the <em>Chrysoperla<\/em> spp., the\nrelationship was, and significant with <em>Empoasca <\/em>&nbsp;spp., <em>N. veridula<\/em> and <em>Tetranychus<\/em>\nspp. numbers. Whereas in the case of <em>Scymnus<\/em> spp., the relationship was\npositive or negative and significant in the case of <em>B. tabaci,<\/em> <em>N.\nveridula<\/em> and truespider mites. At the same time, the relationship\nbetween <em>Orius<\/em> spp. beetles and sucking piercing pests ranged between\npositive &amp; negative, significant and insignificant, and that relationship\nwas significant and negative true spiders and insignificant &amp; positive with\nother insect piercing insects. Generally, multiple regressions between the\nsucking pests and predators were 65.19, 72.24, 55.75, 71.45 and 41.56 for (<em>Coccinella<\/em>\nspp., <em>Chrysoperla<\/em> spp.<em>,<\/em> <em>Peaderus alferii<\/em>, <em>Scymnus<\/em>\nspp., <em>Orius<\/em> spp. and true spiders), respectively.&nbsp; It could be concluded that the treatment of\npink bollo worm using the following pesticide program (Chlorperifos +\nChlorfloiseron and then Lambadacyhalothrin alone and then Chlorperifos alone)\nled to a significant reduction in the number of pink bolloworm, pests\nassociated with this effect were low on insect predators associated with\nperforating sucking insects in cotton fields..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key words:<\/strong><em> Pectinophora\ngossypiella<\/em>, Insecticides, Sucking pests, Predators. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Full paper in English: <a href=\"http:\/\/agri-research-journal.net\/sjar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/v7n3p37.pdf\">PDF<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mohammed E.
