E-Mail:\ntalalfo544@gmail.com). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Received:\n31\/08\/2019&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Accepted:\n27\/10\/2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This research was carried out during the period (2016- 2018) at Homs Research Center, General Commission for Scientific Agricultural Research (GCSAR), Syria, in order to study the effect of pollination types (self, cross, and free pollination) of some olive varieties (<em>Olea europaea<\/em>) on qualitative and quantities traits of fruits and seeds. According to the cross- pollination of olive varieties namely<strong>, <\/strong>AlKaissi (&#x2640;), Al Beareny (&#x2642;), Al Sorani (&#x2642;), and Al\u2013Frantoio (&#x2642;), the results showed that there were some changes in qualitative characteristics (fruits and seed shape) beside some quantitative changes i.e.\u00a0 fruit and seed weight, more over the self-compatibility of Al Beareny was partial. The varieties Al Beareny, \u00a0Al Sorani and Al\u2013Frantoio can\u2019t be considered as a good pollinators. Also, the results showed the effect of crossing of Al\u2013Frantoio (&#x2640;) X Jlot (&#x2642;) was on the quantitative characteristics of fruits and seed. Moreover Jlot variety was self-incompatibility. Whereas Jlot variety was a pollinator for \u00a0Frantoio. Besides, the effect of crossing of Al\u2013Shamlali (&#x2640;) X Jlot (&#x2642;) was on the quantitative characteristics of fruits and seed. Moreover Al\u2013Shamlali variety was self-compatibility.
