Jamon under four levels of nitrogen fertilizer (20, 80,\n120 and 180 pure units of N, urea 46%\/ha). The experiment was sown in summer\nduring September. A randomized complete block design (RCBD) was used with three\nreplications. The statistical analysis of both seasons exhibited a significant\neffect of the nitrogen fertilizer (N) on all of the production traits (shoot\nyield (ton\/ha)) and morphological traits (shoot weight per plant (g), and root\nlength and diameter (cm)). Also, there were no significant differences in\nquality traits (dry matter in root and shoot (%) and sucrose (%)).
