The parasitoid of the psyllid\nwas collected from the infested leaves in plastic boxes with moistened cotton and\nwas kept at a laboratory condition for the emergence of the adult parasitoid.\nThe parasitoid was identified as <em>Trechnites<\/em> <em>flavipes <\/em>(Mercet),\nwhich was recently reported in Palestine during 2018.This study provided a new\ncollection data about two psyllid species that infests the cultivated fig in\nSyria, namely, fig gall psyllid<em>, Pauropsylla<\/em> <em>buxtoni<\/em> and the free\nliving fig psyllid, <em>Homotoma<\/em> <em>ficus<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key words: <\/strong>Syria, Parasitoid, Cultivated fig, <em>Homotoma<\/em> <em>ficus, <\/em>Bio-control<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Full paper in English: <a href=\"http:\/\/agri-research-journal.net\/sjar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/v7n2p29.pdf\">PDF<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mahran Zeity(1)*and Majeda Mofleh(2) (1).
