Richard natural forest on the\neastern aspect of the coastal mountain range in Slenfeh, Syria. 48 samples were\nselected with an area of \u200b\u200b100 m<sup>2<\/sup>. The dendrometric characteristics\nof forest stands (density, diameter, basal area and crown coverage) were\nidentified in the selected samples. The forest measurements were compared using\nWallis-Kruskal Test (KW) at 5 % level of\nsignificance using SPSS. The results\nshowed that the forest stands were characterized by a high diversity of\ncomposition and structure. The Cedrus libani&nbsp;\nwas the dominant forest species, although its distributed is non homogeneously,\nin addition to another group of forest species which were <em>Juniperus drupacea<\/em>\nLabill., <em>Quercus infectoria<\/em> Oliv., <em>Ostrya carpinifolia<\/em> Scop., <em>Quercus\nlibani<\/em> Oliv., <em>Quercus cerris<\/em> L. subsp. <em>pseudocerris<\/em>\n(Boiss.) Chalabi, <em>Quercus brantii<\/em> Lind., <em>Fraxinus orunus<\/em> L., and finally <em>Quercus\ncalliprinos<\/em> Weeb.
