The results showed a clear increase in solar radiation and soil surface temperatures, and a noticeable decrease in rainfall, coupled with an increase in wind speeds at the Al-Musallamiyah research station. Rainfall was found to be the most significant factor affecting soil moisture, with a very strong, direct, and significant impact. Similarly, solar radiation had a strong, inverse, and significant effect on soil moisture. The effects of the other climatic elements (soil surface temperature and wind speed) were not significant.
