The mice were divided into a control group of 18 females treated with water only, and a group treated with the alcoholic extract of the dill plant, <em>Anethium graveolens<\/em>. The group was divided into two groups based on concentration (5% &#8211; 10%), each containing 9 females treated with the extract only. The number of doses (18, 12, and 6) corresponded to the three gestational periods in mice. The animals were then dissected, and fetuses were counted for statistical analysis.
