The results showed that the pollen grains of the genus are medium to large in size, with three germinal lines, 3-zonocolpate, with various shapes: <em>C.althaeoides, C.arvensis, C.cantabrica<\/em>, and <em>C.scammonia<\/em>, and the prolate-elongated form of <em>C.scammonia<\/em>, and the oblate-spheroidal form of <em>C.scammonia<\/em>.\u00a0 <em>betanocefolius<\/em> and the <em>sub-prolate<\/em> shape of the species <em>C.cantabrica<\/em>. The decorations are notched. The smallest pollen grains were of the species <em>C.cantabrica<\/em> (52.2 \u2013 60 \u00d7((48.66 \u2013 54.8) \u03bcm\u00a0 For species within a genus, they provide valuable information for distinguishing between similar species.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\"><strong>Key words<\/strong>: Convolvulacaea, <em>Convolvulus<\/em> L., pollen grains , 3-zonocolpate, electron microscope SEM .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">\u00a0Full paper in Arabic: <a href=\"http:\/\/agri-research-journal.net\/SjarEn\/wp-content\/uploads\/v12n4p43.pdf\">PDF<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mayada Zahlout* (1), Sarhan Layka(1) , Ahmad kara- Ali(2), \u00a0\u00a0and Abeer Sultan(3) (1).
