The resultant hybrids were evaluated statistically by using a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications. The significant variation for both general and specific combining ability of inbred lines and their resultant hybrids indicated the importance of both additive and non-additive gene actions in the inheritance of the number of days up to appear 50% of silking, plant height, cob height, grain yield, and harvest index.
